Spiritmaster is the summon-centered magic class, combining a spirit companion with pressure and control. It suits players who enjoy managing more than one source of action and adapting utility to the encounter, but exact spirit behavior must be checked against the current client.
Orb summoner and attrition role
Spiritmaster (정령성) is AION 2's orb-wielding summoner. The official guide confirms spirits with different elements, indirect combat through those companions, status effects, and damage over time that weakens enemies over a longer engagement. It is therefore distinct from Sorcerer's short direct-burst window: Spiritmaster layers companion pressure and attrition.
The class suits players who like layered decision-making. Positioning the character is only part of the job; the player must also understand whether the spirit is connected to the target and contributing as intended. Interface clarity and encounter awareness therefore matter.
Spirit commands and damage over time
Establish the spirit's target, apply pressure, and preserve control for moments where it changes the fight. Re-check positioning after enemy movement instead of assuming the companion followed perfectly. In dangerous pulls, use control to simplify the situation rather than adding enemies faster than the toolkit can manage.
Summon AI, command behavior, effect stacking, and exact rotations are especially version-sensitive. Verify them in the live AION 2 client. Original AION sources cannot establish current pathing, coefficients, or cooldown behavior.
Spiritmaster PvE control
During leveling, learn how the spirit engages and returns before using it near dense enemy groups. In parties, direct pressure toward the tank's chosen target and avoid companion behavior that complicates a controlled pull. Boss movement may require commands or repositioning to preserve contribution.
Players commonly enjoy the feeling of maintaining pressure while handling mechanics, but companion responsiveness is also a recurring concern in summon classes. Treat individual reports as context because latency, terrain, and updates can change the experience. Test current behavior in repeatable encounters.
Layered pressure in PvP
PvP value comes from forcing opponents to answer multiple sources of pressure while control limits their choices. Keep the main character protected and do not chase so far that the spirit and player become disconnected from allied support. Use terrain deliberately because it can affect both line of sight and companion routing.
Mode matters: duels emphasize individual control decisions, while group fights emphasize coordinated pressure. Exact dispel rules, control duration, and summon durability are待确认 for the live patch. Do not reuse a tier claim without its date and context.
Orb and summon progression
Choose upgrades that improve reliable contribution in the content you play. Evaluate the full class loop rather than only a direct spell tooltip, and verify whether an item effect applies as assumed to summoned actions. If the interaction is unclear, mark it unconfirmed and test before investing.
Keep separate progression goals for solo play, dungeons, and PvP. Named best-in-slot lists are intentionally absent until item sources and current interactions are verified. Official update notes override older community testing.
What Spiritmaster players experience
Spiritmaster is rewarding for players who enjoy control and parallel management. The same complexity can feel awkward when companion behavior is not immediately readable. That difference is a preference and execution issue, not enough evidence for a universal ranking.
Community testing is particularly valuable for summon interactions, but it must be reproducible. Prefer demonstrations showing patch, target, and conditions over a single damage screenshot. Reported bugs should not be presented as permanent class mechanics.
Common mistakes
Do not let the spirit initiate uncontrolled pulls, forget to re-check it after movement, or spend control on an enemy already handled by the party. Avoid assuming every player report reflects the current patch. Never copy original-AION summon values into an AION 2 build.
